This website showcases the Sinophone (i.e. Chinese language) writing of Tibeto-Burman speaking minority authors in China. Inside you will find lists of minority authors and their works, and comprehensive glossaries of minority language words that can be found within the Chinese language writing of these authors.

Goals 目標
The project aims to show how Sinophone minority authors use Chinese to reflect their own identity, or subtly employ translational strategies to highlight their culture, challenging a homogenized notion of “Chineseness” in their writing.
項目旨在顯示華語地區的少數民族作家如何利用中文反映他們獨特的身份，並巧妙地以翻譯表現出自身的文化特點，在寫作中挑戰中國一體化的概念。
